Mr. Basavaraj Bommai, the Chief Minister of Karnataka, is soon going to host a dinner party for Mr. Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister at his residence, on the 3rd of May.

It is to be noted that during the dinner party, the Karnataka Chief Minister would hold discussions on crucial issues, including the cabinet expansion impacting the state’s Assembly elections.

Besides Mr. Amit Shah, the former Chief  Minister of Karnataka Mr. B.S. Yediyurappa and senior leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) would also be present during the dinner party.  The major reason behind this sudden party hosting is the pressure for quick Cabinet expansion.  They are stressing the fact that only about 10 months are pending for the Karnataka Assembly polls and they won’t be able to do anything if more time is consumed for making decisions.

Furthermore, during the dinner meeting, the BJP Government would also discuss the future course of action for the Indian National Congress and the impact of the alliance forged between the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Karnataka’s farmers Organization.

The scheduled meeting came days after the Delhi visit of Mr. Basavaraj Bommai.  He would be in Delhi on the 30th of April, Saturday, having rounds of meetings with the union ministers and national BJP leaders.
