Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana. inaugurated a state-of-the-art State Police Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC) here. The structure spread over 6.42 lakh sq ft with five towers houses the Hyderabad City Police Commissionerate, besides the Technology Fusion Centre meant for several key policing functions.
According to sources, built by the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Government, the command centre and integrated command would help the Hyderabad City Police. The command would be a single platform for the City Police’s various departments to function. Furthermore, the command centre also known as the Police Towers would have access to 9.25 lakh cameras installed across the State, to monitor the entire city, reducing crime rates on the streets.
The City Police Commissioner Mr. C.V. Anand has released a memo to all the departments associated with this project.
The grand inauguration of the integrated command centre would be a matter of reputation for the Hyderabad City Police, which would have enhanced functioning.
All the various units of the police department will work on a single platform in the integrated command and control centre.
