In an encounter in Jammu and Kashmir, a Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorist was killed on the 21st of April, Friday.
According to the Jammu and Kashmir Police, the encounter broke out after the police launched a search operation, based on the intelligence input about the presence of the terrorist in Malwah region of the district. Furthermore, during the encounter, three police personnel were said to have received minor injuries.
The General of Police Mr. Vijay Kumar took to Twitter and said, “In the initial exchange of fire, 03 #soldiers received minor injuries. #Operation in progress. Further details shall follow.” The police further said, “In the ensuing gunfight, one LeT terrorist was killed.”
Meanwhile, during the search operation, arms and ammunition have been recovered from the terrorists.
