Make In India: Maharashtra Welcomes The World

Mumbai: Make in India week has begun today in the financial capital of India. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the ‘Make in India’ week on Saturday in Mumbai. The event will witness the expo of ‘manufacturing prowess’ in the country and also captures the attention of investments from global and domestic markets.

Modi inaugurated the new building of Bombay Art Society and also viewed the paintings and sculptures. After that, he will inaugurate the ‘Make in India’ centre at the Bandra Kurla complex.

Several distinguished personalities from the 68 countries and business teams from 72 nations are expected to attend the industrial event. Nearly 2,500 international and 8,000 domestic companies will be participating in the week-long event.The Prime Minister of India is also expected to hold bilateral meetings with senior foreign leaders from different countries during the week.
