Kolkata: A 14-year-old girl was forced to consume alcohol in the Howrah-Amritsar Express after which she was allegedly raped by three army personnel in the Express.
According to the statement given by the minor girl to the Railway Police read that she was raped inside the train compartment by three Army personnel.
Sub-inspector P Jani, the local police got a message from Howrah RPH, which received a complaint from the girl’s father that his daughter was allegedly ‘fled’ and was travelling by the train. After receiving the message, the RPF raided the train at the Madhupur railway station and found the girl.
The Army personnel who forced her to consume liquor was arrested on the girl’s complaint while the other two accused were absconding, Mr Jani added.
The girl was sent to a hospital for a medical test.
