The trailer of Akshay Kumar’s film, Toilet Ek Prem Katha released and Prime Minister Narendra Modi had nothing but nice things to say about it.
Narendra Modi appreciated the movie for making an effort to promote cleanliness in India.
Modi took to Twitter to say, “Good effort to further the message of cleanliness. 125 crore Indians have to continue working together to create a Swachh Bharat.” Modi wrote this after Akshay shared the trailer with him.
Akshay Kumar responded to the Tweet and said, “Thank you so much honorable Sir. Hope we succeed in changing mindsets and truly making a difference.”
The Prime Minister and the National Award winning actor Akshay Kumar had a meeting last month where they discussed the movie.
Toilet: Ek Prem Katha is set with the backdrop of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, and the main plot of a love story. The film is directed by Shree Narayan Singh and written by Sidhharth and Garima.
In the lead roles are Akshay Kumar and Dum Laga Ke Haisha actress, Bhumi Pednekar. The movie also stars Anupam Kher and Sana Khan in supporting roles. The release date of the film is 11th August of this year.
