Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mother Heeraben Modi passed away on the 30th of December, Friday, at the age of 100.
According to sources, Heeraben Modi was admitted at a hospital in Ahmedabad and took her last breath at 3:30 A.M. The medical bulletin released on the morning of the 30th of December, read, “Heeraben Modi passed away on 30/12/2022 at 3:30 A.M., during the treatment at UN Mehta Heart Hospital.”
Mr. Narendra Modi shared a heartfelt tweet, which read, “शानदार शताब्दी का ईश्वर चरणों में विराम… मां में मैंने हमेशा उस त्रिमूर्ति की अनुभूति की है, जिसमें एक तपस्वी की यात्रा, निष्काम कर्मयोगी का प्रतीक और मूल्यों के प्रति प्रतिबद्ध जीवन समाहित रहा है.”

Upon hearing the demise of Heeraben Modi, Union Ministers like Mr. Amit Shah, Mr. Rajnath Singh, Mr. Mansukh Mandaviya and others extended condolences to PM Narendra Modi and his family.
In addition, Mr. Rahul Gandhi, the former President of the Indian National Congress (INC) also extended condolences to Mr. Narendra Modi over the death of his mother Heeraben Modi.
