ISRO successfully launched 104 satellites in one go on Wednesday. This was a world record that broke Russia’s record of 37 satellites. On Friday, after this success, scientists and directors of ISRO announced that their main focus will now be on the launch of South Asian Satellite by the end of March.

ISRO has been regularly registering successful missions from the last couple of years. Everytime that ISRO registered a mission successfully the Indian Social Media relentlessly trolls The New York Times newspaper. In October 2014, the NYT published a cartoon that mocked India’s Mangalyaan success, with a cartoon. This cartoon did not go down well with the Indians around the world.

The original cartoon published by NYT.

This cartoon depicted an Indian farmer with a cow knocking the doors of ‘Elite Space Club.’ As expected this didn’t go down well with Indians as ISRO was at its peak performance. The trolling continued until NYT issued an official apology on their Facebook page.

But despite the apology, the cartoon stayed in the memory of Indians and it is back once again to haunt the NYT. A popular news daily published a cartoon on Friday, that gave a fitting reply to the NYT cartoon.

The cartoon shows the present situation wherein India has successfully launched 96 US satellites and has been praised by the International media unanimously.
