Kashmir October 2: On the eve of Gandhi Jayanthi, Baramulla the main city in Indian-administered Kashmir was attacked by militants. As always the gunfire and grenades started late in the night and ended up till next morning.
The Border Security Force (BSF,) has informed the media that there was one soldier killed and gunfire continued the whole night. According to Imtiyaz Ahamd Indian Senior Police Superintendent, “Militants lobbed the grenades and used automatic weapons to fire. But by the morning the firing has stopped.”
After the surgical attacks in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir, there has been a lot of turbulence in Kashmir. Danger rectified villages have been evacuated and the Indian Armed Forces are ready for any huge misadventure taking place. As always militants attacked the army camp at night and now there has been a high alert declared in Kashmir.
