PM Modi’s Social Media Is Now Platform For Inspiring Stories

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on International Women’s Day which was the 8th of March, devoted his social media accounts like Twitter, Instagram and others to women .

On the 8th of March, Mr. Modi took to Twitter and said he would log out from his accounts and give it to 7  women achievers. The 7 women would share their life journeys and stories of courage through PM Modi’s social media accounts.

Mr. Modi Tweeted, “Greetings on International Women’s Day!  We salute the spirit and accomplishments of our Nari Shakti.  As I’d said a few days ago, I’m signing off. Throughout the day, seven women achievers will share their life journeys and perhaps interact with you through my social media accounts.”

The selected women would share their stories and inspire the nation with #SheInspireUs.

The women who took over Mr. Modi’s Twitter accounts were Sneha Mohandoss, Kalavati Devi, Vijaya Pawar, Kalpana Ramesh, Dr. Malvika Iyer, Arifa and Vina Devi.

 Sneha Mohandoss tweeted, “You heard of food for thought.  Now, it is time for action and a better future for our poor.  Hello, I am @snehamohandoss Inspired by my mother, who instilled the habit of feeding the homeless, I started this initiative called Foodbank India.”

 PM Modi is one of the most followed world leaders on social media.  He has 53.3 million followers on Twitter, 44 million on Facebook, 35.2 million on Instagram and 4.5 million on YouTube.
