After Demonetisation, the Prime Minister stressed on the usage of digital economy for making transactions. But the problem our Country is facing is the lack of PoS machines for easy transactions. Addressing this issue, the Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan on Saturday said, “The availability of point of sale (PoS) machines for a cashless transaction will improve in the coming days.”

Paswan said in a press release, “There are infrastructure issues with regard to PoS machines. But the situation will definitely improve in the coming days. More PoS machines would be made available.” The Food Minister assured maximum transactions in the country, be it big or small, should be done by digital payment methods. In the press meet, the Minister also mentioned his plans of visiting his constituency Hajipur of Bihar, pay random visits to shops and check for smooth and easy cashless transactions.

He also said that as the cashless economy is transparent it will keep a check on tax evasion. He added “More consumers should adopt the digital mode of payment. I am sure, this will be successful.”

To support Demonetisation, almost all authorities of India have given their support to this move, by adopting cashless economy Hoping that this move will make easier transactions and less struggle for finding change.
