Upendra Kushwaha, the chief of the Rashtriya Lok Samta Party (RLSP,) on Wednesday, suggested to the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) members that they quit the National Democratic Alliance (NDA.)
Mr. Kushwaha took a dig at the Modi led NDA and addressing the media source ANI, he said, “People of NDA have become arrogant, particularly in the context of Bihar such as Nitish Kumar, who is also being supported by the key leadership of the BJP. Their conceit was somewhere a big reason behind us getting away from them. Others would also not be safe from this arrogance for long.” He further advised the LJP to leave the NDA because the BJP has decided to destroy small parties.
Mr. Kushwaha’s comments came after Chirag Paswan, a member of the LJP, tweeted that the BJP will resolve the outstanding issues with the rest of the NDA allies parties in a timely manner.

Upendra Kushwaha quit the NDA on the 10th of December. He cited the arrogance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Chief Minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar, as one of the reasons behind him leaving the alliance.
Apart from Upendra Kushwaha, many BJP leaders such as Gyan Dev Ahuja and L. Chandrashekar also left the NDA.
