On Wednesday a Bengaluru man filed a case against his wife at the local police station for cheating him. The complaint read that his wife has married seven men in total including him. The man alleged that she has kept all seven men in the dark.
Yasmin Banu, the 38 year old has been detained by the Bengaluru police for attempting to extort money from these men. The Police said that her agenda was simple and quite clear, marry rich men and extort money from them and desert them. When someone refused to pay money she threatened to approach the police with a domestic abuse case.
The police have tracked six of the seven men she had married and her criminal background came to light after her husband Imran, filed a case of cheating. He registered in a FIR that they have two sons together from their marriage. Yasmin has apparently extorted a total of 2.5 lakhs from him after which she deserted him.
Another husband Afzal had a similar story, the female approached him looking for a job, after a brief affair they got married. Yasmin then took the money and deserted him. The accused Yasmin denied all claims and said she was married only to Imran. The police are investigating the statements of all the other alleged victims.
