Approximately 9 people, including students, teachers and school staff died in a tragic accident, reported in Kerala’s Palakkad region.
On the 6th of October, Thursday, a school bus, carrying 50 students crashed with a Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus in Kerala’s Palakkad region. The tragic accident killed 9 people and left approximately 38 people seriously injured.
The accident was confirmed by the Kerala Minister Mr. M.B. Rajesh, who said the tourist bus was on its way to Ooty, whereas the KSRTC bus was heading to Coimbatore.
Getting into the details, the tourist bus was having students and teachers of Baselios Vidhyanikhetan School, hit the rear end of the KSRTC bus at Mangalam near Vadakkenchery, Kerala.
The police rushed to the spot and registered a case. Moreover, the Kerala High Court took a suo moto cognizance of the accident.
