The 2nd October is Gandhi Jayanti. On this day the nation is remembering and paying homage to Mahatma Gandhi.
This year, 2021, marks 152nd birth anniversary of the “Father of the Nation”. People from all walks of life have taken to different social media platforms, especially Twitter, to share posts about the one of India’s greatest leaders.
Political leaders and celebrities paid tribute ro Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation, and remembered him on his birth anniversary. Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi paid tribute to late Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat. Beaides Mr. Modi, Rahul Gandhi, the former President of the Indian National Congress (INC,) along with Ms. Sonia Gandhi, the Interim President of the INC, Ms. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, the General Secretary of the INC and other senior leaders of the opposition paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat.
Meanwhile, Twitter is also flooded with posted and tweets remembering the Father of Nation.
Celebrity chef Kunal Kapur took to Instagram to share this video on Mahatma Gandhi. “Life of #MahatmaGandhi in 1 min. Remembering #Bapu on his birth anniversary. These significant dates remind us about the message of building a prosperous, progressive and peaceful India,”
Mr. Srinivas B.V, wrote, ”
