Kanker: Two Border Security Force personnel were killed and four injured in a fierce encounter with naxals, at Chhattisgarh’s Kanker district on Saturday.
In a special operation which was launched from Kanker on Friday night by 170,122 and 165 Battalions of the BSF with the civil police near Becha village, a gunbattle ensued with naxals in which 6 BSF personnel were injured.
The injured personnel were evacuated to Raipur in a chopper during which 2 personnel succumbed to their injuries.
