On Friday, the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Adityanath yogi had surprise visitors at the VVIP guest house, where the CM is presently staying. The Samajwadi Party senior leader Mulayam Singh Yadav’s daughter in law Aparna and the Bahujan Samajwadi Party leader Ramveer Upadhyay, visited the CM.
Aparna Yadav, the youngest daughter in law of Mulayam Singh Yadav, had contested from the Lucknow Cantt for the Assembly seat and lost in the Assembly Elections. This meeting, termed as a ‘courtesy call’ created curiosity among the members of the state and political parties as she was also seen attending a public function held by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi earlier in Lucknow, the State Capital. Aparna was seen carrying a bouquet to the VVIP guest house and stayed for around 20 minutes in the temporary residence of the CM.

The other surprise visitor, BSP leader Ramveer Upadhyay tried to avoid media persons, unsuccessfully. After the meeting with the CM, he said, “I raised the issue of security of my son and myself with the Chief Minister who assured that he will look into the matter.” This was an appeal for protection after his son almost assassinated by unknown people in the recent past.
