The Prime Minister of India Mr. Narendra Modi is scheduled to meet Ms. Kamaal Harris, the Vice President of the United States of America (U.S.A.)
Mr. Narendra Modi is going to visit the United States for a bilateral meeting with Mr. Joe Biden, the President of the U.S.A. While the bilateral meeting between Mr. Narendra Modi and Mr. Joe Biden is scheduled on the 24th of September, meeting between PM Modi and VP Kamala Harris is scheduled on the 23rd of September.
This would be the first visit of PM Modi to the United States after the Joe Biden administration came into power. Joe Biden would host Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi for the first time in person.
Besides the bilateral meeting at the White House, Mr. Narendra Modi would also attend Quad Leaders’ Summit at the White House. Narendra Modi, Japanese Prime Minister Mr. Yoshihide Suga and Australian Prime Minister Mr. Scott Morrison would also be a part of the summit.
Regarding the VP Kamala Harris and PM Narendra Modi meeting, the White House official released a statement, “The Vice President will meet with His Excellency Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of the Republic of India.”
Although Ms. Kamala Harris have spoken to Mr. Narendra Modi over calls, this would be the first in person meeting.
