Uttarakhand Cabinet Expansion Today, Ministers To Take Oath At 5 PM

Tirath Singh Rawat, the new Chief Minister of Uttarakhand is going to expand his Cabinet on the 12th of March. The developments came a day after Tirath Singh Rawat was administered the oath of office as the Uttarakhand CM. All the newly inducted Cabinet ministers would take the oath of office at 5:00 P.M., on the 12th of March.

According to the sources, nearly 11 ministers would take oath today. The list of 11 BJP leaders as the Cabinet ministers would be cleared by the Parliamentary Board in Delhi.

Dushyant Gautam, the President of the BJP unit in Uttarakhand said, “Cabinet expansion will be done. They will take oath, post this afternoon when we get names from Delhi (central leadership). The Parliamentary Board is discussing there, they’ll send us names that will be included. 11 ministers to take (the) oath.”

The Uttarakhand Governor Baby Rani Maurya would administer the oath of office to the ministers at Raj Bhavan.

The event would be a low key affair due to the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.
