Bengaluru: Yet in another drunk and drive accident one person killed and three critically injured, six vehicles damaged after a doctor lost his control on Mercedes Benz car in Jayanagar area, Bengaluru.
52-year-old Rizwan alias Ahmed Khan was killed on the spot and his 45-year-old wife Mohsina Begum suffered mulitple fractures after the car knocked down their two-wheeler. An orthopedician, Dr. Shankar N. H, at the Siddhartha Clinic was driving his car with his domestic help- Sarita and her child on board.
As Shankar reached the Madhavan Park, he brushed past a car. Fearing repercussions, he sped towards Byrasandra main road and rammed into a bike and two cars.
“55-year-old doctor is not in a condition to speak. Once he is fine, we will be able to know where he was going and what made him drive at top speed,” said a senior police officer.
