Virat Kohli’s is quite famous across all platforms of life for being an aggressive cricketer. He is known for his unabashed aggression on the field when things go wrong. When disappointed, he even hurls abuses on the field, which ironically many cricketers have adapted over time. The Australian media, after the Steve Smith incident, got obsessed with the player and has left no stone unturned to tarnish his name. Calling names is now passe for them, they are now outrightly comparing the cricketer with people who the world loves to hate.

FOX Sports Australia, a sports digital and electronic media, conducted a Facebook live poll that competed for the title, ‘Vettel (villain) of the week.’ It listed Virat Kohli along with other animals a panda, a puppy and a kitten!
The Daily Telegraph, another Oz media publication, compared Virat not only to a dictator but also the new notorious President of the USA, Donald Trump! The Headline of the article read, “VIRAT KOHLI’S DONALD TRUMP-LIKE CONTEMPT FOR THE TRUTH MAKING MOCKERY OF THE GAME.”
This obssession began after Virat tried to call out Steve Smith over the DRS controversy in the India-Australia Second test wherein Steve was caught (by the Umpire) looking towards the dressing room after being dismissed for LBW. Cricket fans all over world have supported Virat in this matter. The continuous bashing by the Australian Media even made the ‘Shahenshah’ of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan, to come out and speak in Virat’s defense. He tweeted,
