On the other hand, no other batsmen in the Srilanka team showed any game except for Angelo Mathews.the 79-run stand between Angelo Mathews and Dinesh Chandimal gave Sri Lanka’s innings some respectability. Mathews led from the front with a flurry of eye-catching shots. He showed his class by using his feet to Harbhajan Singh and lofting him down the ground for a six to reach his fifty.
Even though Harbhajan Singh was most economical, he was unable to bag any wickets to his name. Ashwin was easily the best bowler on show for the tourists.
