Neeraj Chopra scripted History and won a Gold medal for India at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.  After the Bronze Medal won by Wrestler Bajrang Punia, India’s Olympic player Neeraj Chopra’s Gold medal win is a bonus for India.

On the 7th of August, Neeraj Chopra won against Pavel Mialeshka of Belarus and secured the first position and a Gold medal in the Javelin throw finals. With this, Neeraj Chopra brought the first Gold medal of 2020 Tokyo Olympics for India and ended a wait of years.

Speaking of today’s event, Neeraj Chopra had thrown 87.03, 87.58 and 76.79 on his first three throws and fouled on his fourth and fifth attempt.  Despite this he was the best and secured a Gold medal.
