Mr. Asaduddin Owaisi, the President of the All India Majlis e Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM,) once again took a dig at PM Narendra Modi and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led Central Government.
Addressing a press, Mr. Asaududdin Owaisi said, “To stop BJP in 2024, you have to stop it on the basis of ideology. You cannot stop BJP by compromising on ideology. You have to show the difference. Why is CM not going to Madarasa Aziza in Bihar? It’s the historical Madarasa, where 4,500 manuscripts are burnt including the Quran e Karim. Till you don’t fight BJP with ideology you cannot stop them.”
Criticizing the BJP Government for their policies, Mr. Asaduddin Owaisi highlighted the National Education Policy report, which claimed that in Muslim areas, the dropouts start from primary classes, mostly after 9th standards. It also mentioned how there are less number of Muslim schools providing secondary education and higher secondary education, in Muslim regions of the Indian states.
In addition, Mr. Asauddin Owaisi said, Under the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) Government, pre matric scholarship was there but under the Modi led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) Government, Muslims do not study and there are dropouts because they don’t have money to educate themselves.
Emphasizing on the need of a strong ideology, Mr. Asaduddin Owaisi said that to fight the BJP Government, instead of compromising with their ideologies, the opposition need to counter them with a different ideology.
The statement of Mr. Asaduddin Owaisi came amid headlines that the opposition are working to form a united party to contest against the BJP.
Notably, the nation will conduct the general elections to elect the next Prime Minister of India in 2024.
