The Telangana Government, on the 23rd of March, reported 5 new cases of the Novel Coronavirus also known as COVID-19.
The two cases are said to be a 21 year old Indian from France and 30 year old man from London. Both of them were tested positive of COVID-19 and increased the cases to 33.
While 27 cases are foreign returns, 6 are local residents of Telangana. To control the spread in the State, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Government imposed lockdown till the 31st of March.
On the evening of the 22nd of March, K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, announced the lockdown as the safety measures to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus.
All the patients of COVID-19 are currently undergoing treatment and are said to be stable.
