COVID-19 – Telangana CM KCR To Conduct Cabinet Meeting

K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, decided to conduct a special Cabinet meeting on the 11th of April.

The meeting is scheduled for 3:00 P.M., tomorrow at Pragathi Bhavan, Hyderabad, Telangana and would discuss the ongoing situation due to the Novel Coronavirus infection in the State.

According to sources, during the meeting, the Cabinet ministers and KCR are going to discuss the pandemic Coronavirus and would take a call regarding the extension of the ongoing lockdown in Telangana.  Apart from the Coronavirus illness, precaution measures and economic crisis, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) is also going to chalk out a future course of action against COVID-19.

K.Chandrashekar Rao recently urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to extend the Nationwide lockdown till the 30th of April, as it is going to end on the 15th of April.   The request was made after reviewing the increasing number of COVID-19 cases in India. 

Telangana is the 5th State in India with the highest number of COVID-19 infection cases, as the number is 471 with 45 recovery cases and 12 deaths till date.
