Eight days after the heinous Disha murder and rape case took place, the Telangana Police shot all the four accused in the case.
At 3:30 A.M., on the 6th of December, the Cyberabad Police, in an encounter, shot all the four accused, identified as Mohammed Pasha, Jollu Shiva, Jollu Naveen and Chintakunta Chennakeshavulu. The Police, as a part of interrogation and investigation, took the culprits to the crime scene and when they tried to run away, the Police opened fire. The culprits were taken to a hospital where they succumbed to their injuries.
The culprits were in judicial custody and were arrested for severe crimes like rape and murder. On the 27th of November, all the four accused abducted Disha, took her to an excluded area, raped her and burnt her alive. After the Shadnagar Court remanded the four of them to judicial custody, the Cyberabad Police filed a petition and demanded their custody for interrogation.
People across the Nation expressed happiness and felt proud about the Hyderabad Police giving justice to Disha. Disha’s father thanked the Hyderabad Police and said, “Her soul must be at peace now.”
Twitter is flooded with messages demanding justice for Nirbhaya and appreciating the Hyderabad Police for their bold decision.
Every Indian wanted the guilty in the #DishaCase to be brought to justice. But when an #Encounter is cheered, its a very worrying sign for society. Why did #telanganapolice not take adequate security measures while transporting the accused, especially in such a high profile case?

If you had not delayed justice to Delhi’s Nirbhaya
If you had not delayed justice to Unnao’s victim
If you had not delayed justice to Kathua’s toddler, this day wouldn’t have come.
Urgent need to reform the judiciary system so there will be immediate justice.#Encounter
