A massive fire broke out in a shopping mall of Korutla town of Jagtial district of Telangana.
The fire broke out in Anand Shopping mall in the wee hours of the 18th of August. The cause of the fire is unknown, however a shot circuit is suspected to be the reason.
According to sources, the fire broke out around 2:00 A.M., Wednesday. Soon after the fire broke out, the authorities at the mall called a fire extinguisher, which tried to douse the fire. After hours of struggle, the fire fighters controlled the fire.
However, the fire accident caused building and property damage at the mall. Since the fire broke out during the early hours, when the mall was closed, there were no casualties reported.
Property damage worth Rs. 6 to 7 crores including material, clothes and other things at the mall.
Meanwhile, the Telangana Police registered a case and launched an investigation.
