The K. Chandrashekar Rao led Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) a party from Telangana, is making efforts to enter national politics and is spreading its wing.

As per the promise of Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the President of the BRS has been able to gain the attention of leaders in the neighbouring Telugu State of Andhra Pradesh.  Many former ministers and bureaucrats are willing to join the BRS, which is aiming to contest the Andhra Pradesh elections and 2024 General Elections against the Central Government led by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP.)

After farmers, students and other sections of the society who recently declared their support to the Party President and Chief Minister of Telangana KCR, leaders and retired officers also extended support.

According to sources, Mr. Thota Chandrashekhar, a retired Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer, Mr. Ravela Kishore Babu, a former State minister and Mr. Chintala Parthasarathi, a former Indian Revenue Services Officer would be joining the BRS on the 2nd of January, Monday.  Along with the aforementioned leaders, many other political leaders in the State would extend support to the BRS and join the party.  Getting into the details, Mr. Thota Chandrashekar is expected to be appointed as the Andhra Pradesh State wing president for the BRS.

Speaking of formers ministers and bureaucrats joining the party, Mr. Rayapati Jagdish, the AP Youth and Students Joint Action Committee president said, “It was a good sign and their decision to join the BRS would pave way for the development of Andhra Pradesh.”  He further said, “Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao with his vision has developed Telangana in all sectors.  He is the only leader who can address Andhra Pradesh issues and ensure the State’s development.”

The BRS is planning to extend their presence in all the states of India, opposing the leadership of Mr. Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India.  Recently the BRS, formerly known as the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS,) inaugurated its headquarters in Delhi.
