On the 13th of June, Tuesday, Mr. Kothakota Dayakar Reddy, the former Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) of Maktal constituency, Andhra Pradesh, passed away.
According to sources, Mr. Kothakota Dayakar Reddy, a leader of the Telugu Desam Party was battling with illness and took his last breathe on Tuesday morning. He was undergoing treatment at the AIG Hospital in Hyderabad, Tekangana.
The news of his demise has garnered condolences from prominent figures such as Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, Mr. Nara Chandrababu Naidu, the National President of the TDP and others.
Highlighting about the political career of Mr. Dayakar Reddy, he had a remarkable political career, having been elected three times as a TDP MLA. He represented the Amarachinta Constituency twice and the Maktal Constituency once.
Additionally, he held the position of National General Secretary of the TDP.
Meanwhile, speaking of his last rites, funeral is expected to be held in his hometown, Parkapuram in Mahbubnagar district, on the 13th of June, Tuesday.
