The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is leading in 88 divisions of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) limits.
The voting trend as of 11:30 A.M., shows the BJP in the lead. While the BJP is leading in 88 seats, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) in 32 divisions and the All India Majlis e Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) in 17 seats.
Y. Satya Kumar, the National Secretary of the BJP sajd, “As the initial trends have suggested, BJP has set its place as a dominant force in the state and is now ready to give TRS a run for its money. The regime of TRS has its days numbered.”
Meanwhile the vote counting of the GHMC elections are underway.
