After a massive fire mishap in Secunderabad, the Telangana Government officials held a high level review meeting on the 25th of January.
According to sources, the meeting was held at the office of Ms. Santhi Kumari, the Chief Secretary of Telangana, at the BRKR Bhavan, Hyderabad. During the meeting, the concerned officials discussed measures to be taken on huge buildings without fire prevention permits under Greater Hyderabad and Municipal Corporation (GHMC) and the demolition of unauthorised buildings.
Notably, the high level meeting chaired by Mr. Mohammed Mahmood Ali held on Wednesday after, the State Home Ministry discussed the same with the officials of the Telangana Fire Services department. During the recently held meeting with the Fire Department, Mr. Mohammed Mahmood Ali and the Home Secretary Mr. Jitendar discussed the recent fire mishaps in the city. The Home Ministry also directed the fire department officials to submit a report regarding the buildings, functioning without any legal permits and having no fire safety arrangements.
Meanwhile, the meeting held today was attended by Mr. K.T. Rama Rao, the Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister of Telangana, Mr. Talasani Srinivas Yadav, the Animal Husbandry Minister of Telangana and other GHMC officials.
