Revanth Reddy, a Member of Parliament (MP) of the Indian National Congress (INC,) on the 3rd of September, met Sonia Gandhi, the Interim President of the INC, in Delhi.
The meeting was conducted to discuss the strategy and state of the INC in Telangana.
It is said the meeting was also regarding the next Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President. Revanth Reddy wishes to be the President of the TPCC.
During the meeting, Sonia Gandhi and Mr. Reddy also criticised K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana and K.T. Rama Rao, the Working President of the TRS. They said the KCR led TRS Government failed to govern the State efficiently.
Ms. Gandhi and Revanth Reddy also had a brief discussion regarding the long term operation of the INC in Telangana.
Apart from Revanth Reddy, his wife, daughter and son also met Sonia Gandhi.
