Hyderabad constable B. Amareshwari is an inspiration during this pandemic situation, who stitches masks for citizens and distributes it for free.

The inspiration is not for stitching the masks, but stitching those after your tiring work schedule.

B. Amareshwari stitches cloth masks and distributes it for free to create awareness and fight  the Novel Coronavirus infection in Hyderabad. She does this when she is not on duty as the Personal Security Officer (PSO) officer to the Telangana Governor Tamilisai Sounderarajan.

Speaking about her working hours, Amareshwari said she starts her day at 3:30 A.M., and work every alternate day, whereas, she stitches masks after 9:30 P.M., during the work days and on her off days.

Speaking about the inspiration behind this, B. Amareshwari said she got motivation from Tamilisai Soundararajan, the Governor of Telangana, who distributes food and essential items to needy.

So far, B. Amareshwari distributed masks to friends and neighbours and other needy people in Telangana and is still working to distribute the masks.

Telangana reported a total of 700 cases of the Novel Coronavirus and 18 deaths till date.
