K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, and the Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan extended New Year greetings to the people of Telangana.
Mr. Rao and Ms. Soundararajan wished the people of Telangana. The Chief Minister of Telangana took to Twitter and said, “May the Almighty bestow happiness and prosperity upon the people welcoming the new year with renewed hopes and aspirations. May all the efforts towards the comprehensive development of Telangana State fructify. Wishing you a happy new year 2021.”
The State Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan also extended the greetings to the Telangana people on the New Year.
She said all the people of Telangana to have a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year.
She took to Twitter and said, “People have been suffered a lot due to COVID-19 in 2020 and hoped the virus could be wiped out with the vaccine in the New Year.”
Telangana witnessed a silent New Year celebration this year in the wake of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.
Bars, clubs and pubs were allowed to sell liquor, but public gatherings and celebrations were prohibited.
