The K. Chandrashekar Rao led Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) now known as the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS,) is gearing up for the upcoming 2023 Telangana Assembly elections.
The party is making all efforts to strengthen the base in all the major regions of the Telugu State to sweep the votes against the opposition parties. Although there are two oppositions for the TRS, the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP,) the Narendra Modi led BJP is said to be a strong opponent, which is eyeing to win the Telangana polls.
Notably, after victory in Dubakka and Huzurabad Assembly constituencies, the BJP is eyeing to win major constituencies in the 2023 elections. However, after the recent win of the TRS in the Munugode Assembly constituency, both the parties, the BJP and the TRS are leaving no stone unturned to win the elections and woo the eligible voters in Telangana.
Meanwhile, if surveys are to be believed, many organisations in Telangana predicted the K. Chandrashekar Rao led TRS to be strong in Telangana. The surveys said, the TRS has a high chance of having a win in the 2023 elections, especially after the recent Munugode by election, in which the TRS won with a margin of 10,000 votes.
According to as many as 5 surveys done by different agencies, the TRS would have an easy win in at least 100 of the 119 Assembly seats, where the All India Majlis e Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) might secure close to 7 seats.
With this, the surveys suggest a clear win for the TRS in the upcoming 2023 Assembly elections in Telangana.
