The K. Chandrashekar Rao led the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) previously known as the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) is in full swing to enter national politics.

Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana and the President of the BRS said, “Just as Telangana State was achieved by the TRS successfully putting facts across to the people and creating awareness, the BRS would make similar efforts across the country and hoist the party flag in Delhi soon.”

Recalling how a few people with constant efforts and passing hurdles, established the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS,) Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao said, “Any revolution would succeed only after overcoming hurdles and suffering humiliation.” 

The BRS President said the party currently had over 60 lakh members of whom scores were serving in different positions as Ministers, MLAs, MLCs, MPs, chairpersons and sarpanches among other posts.

KCR said, “As all of them took up the development of the State as a personal responsibility, we have achieved an unprecedented success, setting new benchmarks in development and welfare programmes.” 

Highlighting achievements of Telangana under the leadership of the TRS, Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao said, when the nation was suffering economically due to the Wuhan Virus (COVID-19) pandemic, Telangana was the only state to witness 2.2% growth in finances.  In addition, the State also launched several benefits and welfare schemes in all sectors including fisheries, weaving and agriculture in the State.

CM KCR said, “No other country in the world has such excellent water resources, arable land, and climatic conditions.  With the resources we have, India should have become the largest food producer in the world.”

Furthermore, KCR said the BRS would begin its national politics journey soon with the 2023 Karnataka Assembly elections.  He asked all the TRS is now known as the BRS cadres to be prepared and campaign for the BRS.  In addition, the BRS would also inaugurate its Delhi headquarters at Vasant Vihar, on the 14th of December.

KCR directed all the State ministers and leaders to be in Delhi by the 13th of December, for the grand inauguration.
