Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana and President of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) is set to hold a massive public meeting in Munugode Assembly elections.
According to the TRS sources, Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao would hold the public meeting on the 31st of October or the 1st of November, the last campaign of TRS for the Munugode by election. Ahead of that, KCR is also scheduled to address a public meeting in Chadur region on the 30th of October. Approximately 1 lakh people are expected to attend the massive gathering organized by the TRS, ahead of Munugode by election.
Furthermore, the decision of the grand public meeting of Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao is said to be scheduled at a time when Mr. J.P. Nadda, the National President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is scheduled to hold a rally and meeting in Munugode. Mr. J.P. Nadda is scheduled to hold the rally and address people on the 31st of October.
While the date for BJP’s public meeting by Mr. J.P. Nadda is confirmed on the 31st of October, the public meeting date for the TRS by KCR is yet to be finalized.
On the other hand, speaking of the Chadur public meeting on the 30th of October, a day ahead of Mr. J.P. Nadda’s meeting, Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao would pose questions to the BJP National President. During the Chadur meeting, KCR would raise questions on the BJP Government’s failure, unfulfilled promises by the BJP and other issues in the State. He also questioned the discrimination shown by the Central Government towards the Telugu State of Telangana and demanded a reply for the same.
It is to be noted, Munugode Assembly by election is scheduled on the 3rd of November. The Member of the Legislative Assembly seat of Munugode Assembly fell vacant after Mr. Komati Reddy Raj Gopal Reddy quit the Indian National Congress (INC) and resigned from the MLA post.
Furthermore, 127 candidates including independent candidates and TRS, INC and BJP candidates are in the fray for the Munugode MLA post, and fighting the by election. While TRS named Mr. K. Prabhakar Reddy as their MLA candidate, the INC and the BJP nominated Ms. Pallavi and Mr. Komati Reddy Raj Gopal Reddy, respectively.
The results of the Munugode by election is scheduled to be announced on the 6th of November.
