Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana and newly launched Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) formerly known as the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) is set to release the draft constitution of the BRS.

The draft constitution, scheduled to be released on the 14th of December, would include the ideology of the BRS, its approach towards achieving the proposed goals and its objective of economic reforms.  In addition, the newly drafted constitution would also have its vision of power, irrigation, education and agriculture in the more significant interest of the nation.   In addition, the new draft would also discuss the welfare of different sections of society, including multi cultural identities, secularism, protection of people and other developments.  The new draft constitution is expected to be unveiled during the inauguration of the BRS Headquarters in Delhi’s Vasant Kunj.

In regard to this, Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, Mr. K.T. Rama Rao, the Information Technology Minister of Telangana and other family members, flew to Delhi on the night of the 12th of December.  It is to be noted, ahead of the BRS Draft Constitution and the party headquarters inauguration, KCR would conduct a two days Raja Syamala Devi Yagam.  The pooja would begin on the 13th of December, Tuesday, focussing on the attention giving final touches to the party’s constitution.

After the yagam, the BRS would unveil the draft constitution and submit the final copy to the Election Commission of India. 

Moreover, the new BRS was launched officially on the 5th of October, to stand as a national party against the Bharatiya Janata Party.   Formerly known as the TRS, the BRS led by Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao would now enter national politics and contest the 2024 General elections.
