K.T. Rama Rao, the Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MAUD) Minister and the Information Technology, Electronics and Communications Minister of Telangana, conducted a meeting with Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) officials.
The meeting was conducted on the 5th of October at the DTCP office in Masab Tank, Hyderabad, Telangana. During the meeting, KTR discussed various issues related to the municipal corporations in the State.
KTR also discussed the measures to control viral fever, dengue and other diseases spreading in Telangana and affecting the citizens.
The MAUD Minister also spoke about sanitation, transport, transfer of construction and demolition debris, dump yard and other issues in Telangana.
The major reason for calling the meeting was the continuous rainfall in Telangana which resulted in the uprooting of trees, water stagnation and other issues faced by people.
According to sources, in the past 24 hours, the GHMC received approximately 30 complaints related to water stagnation, collapsing of trees and others.
The meeting was attended by Mayor Bonthu Rammohan, Arvind Kumar, the Principal Secretary of the MAUD Department, D.S. Lokesh Kumar, the Commissioner of the GHMC and other GHMC officials.
