Mr. K.T. Rama Rao, the Information Technology and Urban Development Minister of Telangana inaugurated Welspun Group’s state of the art textile park at Chandanvelly in Rangareddy.
Mr. K.T. Rama Rao, the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Minister, took to Twitter and said, “I thank Chairman of @TheWelspunGroup Sri @BKGoenka Ji for announcing a IT/ITeS Centre at Chandanvelli which will employ more than 1,000 youngsters. This will truly be a game changer for the local economy. Request MP @DrRanjithReddy Garu to setup a skilling Centre & enable this.”
It is to be noted, Telangana’s Textile and Apparel policy has been a major success with large textile companies. Big companies like Welspun, KITEX and YoungOne arec endorsing major projects in Telangana, including Textile Park.
Constructed with an investment of Rs. 500 crores, the park is the second investment of Welspun Groups.
During the inauguration event, Mr. K.T. Rama Rao said, “There were no industries in Chandanvelly 5 years ago. After Welspun Group established their facility, Amazon, Kitex, Microsoft and others have come up here.”
In addition, Mr. Balakrishan Goenka, the Chairman of the Welspun Groups, said, “Chandanvelly will become India’s Industrial Paradise.”
Meanwhile, the grand inauguration event was attended by the leaders of the BRS and Telangana Ministers at Chandanvelly.
