K. T. Rama Rao, the Information Technology, Electronics and Communications Minister of Telangana, on the 23rd of July, laid the foundation of an elevator from Nalgonda Cross Road to Owaisi junction.
The estimated cost of the elevated corridor would be Rs .523 crores. Of the total amount, Rs. 153 crores would be spent on land acquisition for the construction.
The 3.382 km elevated corridor will have a 2.580 km long flyover and ramps on both sides. The four-lane corridor will ease traffic congestion from Nalgonda Cross Road between Saidabad, IS Sadan and Owaisi junction.
The construction of this elevated corridor would be done by the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC.)
The construction is being carried out with modern technology. In this event, the state Home Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali, State Minister talasani srinivasyadav pasusanvarthaka, GHMC Mayor bell Ram Mohan, MP ovaisi Majlis, members of the local legislative powers Ahmed bin Abdullah, Syed Ahmed Pasha Quadri, GHMC Commissioner dieslokes Kumar, zonal Commissioner (in charge) Upendrareddy, Project CEO Sridhar, local corporators participated.
