Mr. K.T. Rama Rao, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Working President lashed out at the Central Government for being unable to produce national flags for the 75th Independence Day celebrations, in India.
Mr. K.T. Rama Rao, the Information Technology and Urban Development Minister criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for importing the Indian flags from China, amid a lack of manufacturing power in India.
Taking a jibe at Mr. G. Kishan Reddy, the Union Tourism Minister, Mr. K.T. Rama Rao said, “India’s khadi industry cannot meet the demand for the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ program.” Taking to Twitter Mr. K.T. Rama Rao said, “Slogan – Make In India. Reality – Import National flags from China for #AzadiKaAmritMahotsav. NPA Govt & its visionary VishwaGuru Ji could not even plan flags for 75th Independence Day when they knew it years ahead. Wah re Wah #atmanirbharbharat, (sic.)”

It is to be noted, that the Narendra Modi-led BJP Government imported national flags from China, as the Khadi Industry of India denied to meet the demand for the Har Ghar Tiranga Programme, launched by the Central Government.
