Mr. K.T. Rama Rao, the Information Technology and Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister of Telangana, supported the Telangana Police.
In a tweet, Mr. K.T. Rama Rao said, “I welcome & support the stand of @TelanganaCOPs

The tweet came as a response to the appeal of the Telangana Police, which asked for exemption in the Hyderabad minor gang rape case and asked for adult punishment for the juvenile accused.
It is to be noted, that on the 31st of May, the Telangana Police registered a gang rape case. A 17-year-old teenager was raped by five minors and one adult (18.) Furthermore, all the accused have been arrested and charged under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC.)
