The daily cases of the Wuhan virus are rising constantly in India, raising alarming concerns for people and the concerned administration.
On the 10th of June, Friday, the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) confirmed 7,584 new Wuhan virus cases, also known as the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19.) In addition, the Health Ministry also reported 24 fatalities in the past 24 hours.
With the data revealed at 8:00 A.M., on Friday, India currently has a total tally of 4,32,05,106 Wuhan virus cases, of which 4,26,44,092 are recovered/discharged cases, 36,267 are active cases and 5,24,747 death cases.
Furthermore, the active cases comprise 0.08% of the total infections, while the national COVID-19 recovery rate is at 98.70% with a 1.21% fatality rate.
With the new cases, there has been an increase of 3,769 in the active Wuhan virus cases in just 24 hours. Concerned about the rise, many states called for mandatory mask wearing in public and urged people to abide by the Wuhan virus protocol.
Meanwhile, under the nationwide vaccination drive, India administered a total of over 194.76 crore vaccine doses.
