After a rise in petrol and diesel prices, Indian cities and states witnessed a rise in LPG cylinder prices too. On the 6th of October, the Central Government announced a hike of Rs. 15 in LPG cylinders. The announcement came at a time when the citizens of India are struggling with the skyrocketing fuel prices, which breached Rs. 100 mark.
Now, the prices of 14.2 kg LPG cylinder prices also increased, giving major worry to the citizens, especially the middle class people of the society. With the revised prices of the LPG Domestic gas, cylinders now would be available with the new prices, in effect from the 6th of October.
The LPG cylinder prices are revised every month based on the international benchmark rate of LPG and the exchange rate of the United States of America (U.S.A.,) dollar and Indian rupee.
LPG Cylinders new rates:
Delhi – Rs. 899.50
Kolkata – Rs. 911
Mumbai – Rs. 899.50
Chennai – Rs. 900.50
Hyderabad – Rs. 937
Gurgaon – Rs. 895.50
Bengaluru – Rs. 887.50
The rise in prices is applicable for both subsidised and non subsidised users.
