Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy directed the officials to take necessary measures to fill vacant teacher posts across the state on war footing. He said that the government will soon conduct Mega DSC (District Selection Committee) exams to fill the teacher posts.
Revanth Reddy addressed a review on the education department and passed key directions. He said that every panchayat in the state should have a school and asked authorities to reopen the schools which were closed earlier in the name of rationalization. Revanth said that no school should be closed with the lack of teachers. Revanth said that education is the right of every citizen and they should not move to other villages and towns to access basic quality education.
He stressed on skill based learning and directed authorities to establish 10 skill universities across the state. Every combined district in the state will have a skill university in future to provide industry ready technical and skill based courses.
