On the 16th of March, a person suspected of having the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19, created  chaos and ran out of the hospital in Nizamabad, Telangana.

The person was admitted at the hospital after being suspected of the virus and was under supervision in an isolation ward.  

The patient was identified as a 35 year old man who is a resident of Nizamabad, travelled to Maharashtra to meet his relatives.   When he returned back to Telangana, he was suffering from fever, cold, and cough and visited a government hospital for a check up.

Since he was having all the symptoms of COVID-19, the hospital administrators kept him in an isolation ward.

However, he escaped from the hospital saying he would inform his family members about the situation.

The situation  created panic in Nizamabad.   The hospital authority is searching for the person.

The deadly virus which was discovered in China in February, so far killed 6,000 people and infected more than 2 lakh people.

In India, 110 positive cases and 3 deaths  due to COVID-19 have been reported till date.   The Union Health Ministry issued notice to be alert and close all  schools, colleges, parks, shopping malls and theatres till the 31st of March.

Companies and offices are also suggested to provide work from home in regards to the current situation due to the pandemic disease, COVID-19.
