On the 28th of December, Ram Nath Kovind, the President of India, completed his southern journey and went back to Delhi.
President Ram Nath Kovind came to Hyderabad on the 20th of December, for his winter sojourn. During his winter sojourn, President Kovind visited Chennai, Puducherry and Thiruvananthapuram. Mr. Kovind’s visit to these 3 places was scheduled from the 23rd to the 26th of December. He came back to Hyderabad on the 26th and stayed two days in the City.
Mr. Kovind’s stay was planned at Rashtrapati Nilayam under the supervision of S.K. Joshi, the Chief Secretary of Telangana.
On the 27th of December, K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, Tamilisai Soundararajan, the Governor of Telangana and other top officials organised a reception for Mr. Kovind.
The ‘At home’ reception was attended by Gutha Sukendar Reddy, the Chairman of the Legislative Council of Telangana, Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, the Speaker of the State Assembly, Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) ministers, officials and others.
