Mr. Venkatrami Reddy, the District Collector of Siddipet, resigned today the 15th of November (Monday.)
Mr. Venmatrami Reddy submitted his resignation letter to Mr. Somesh Kumar, the Chief Secretary (CS) of Telangana. The decision was taken in the view of joining the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) party in Telangana. The CS of Telangana is yet to accept the resignation letter of the Siddipet District Collector.
Addressing the media after submitting the resignation letter, the said, “After receiving a call from the Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, I will joi the ruling party (TRS.)” He said he is going to work for the development of Telangana and would work with the TRS for the growth and development of the Telugu State.
Mr. Venkatrami Reddy is the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the 2007 batch. With this decision of joining the TRS, he is all set to enter the political field of Telangana. The joining of the Siddipet DC came at a time when the State is preparing for the Member of the Legislative Council (MLC) election on the 10th of December. According to sources, Mr. Venkatrami Reddy has been promised a MLC ticket from the TRS.
The details regarding his joining of the TRS is yet to be mentioned.
